The involvement of Villa Serena, a residence for the elderly, located in Montaione, could not be missing in the dissemination of the European Erasmus + My Life in Europe project. The Municipality, in fact, was one of the first to give patronage for the project, thanks to the interest of the Mayor Paolo Pomponi, who understood the importance of collecting the life stories of the elderly, even through a “serious” game. of autobiographical writing, such as the one developed within the project. Thus, Friday 9 September 2022, Grazia Chiarini, referent of the Libera Università dell’Autobiografia of Anghiari , bringing greetings from Carla Sabatini, from Nkey ( Santa Croce sull’Arno), coordinator of the project, met with Isabella Caponi, director of the RSA, managed by the Union of Municipalities of the Empolese Valdelsa district, Severina Gaetani, head of the animation activity, Debora Scarselli and Fabiana Leoncini , the animators of the structure, to present the My Life game and find together the most suitable way to proceed with the experimentation.
